Canadian speaking tour

In the second half of July I will be in Canada for a series of exciting speaking engagements. On July 19, I will join Evan Light (York University) and Arne Hintz (Cardiff University) at Ryerson University, for a panel on "Challenging surveillance activism in a datafied world". The event is hosted by Jeremy Shtern as part of the CREA T.O. Speaker Series.
On June 21st I will give a lecture on 'Big Data, Surveillance and Resistance' as part of the Surveillance Studies Seminar at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. Finally, on June 23rd I will have the honor to conclude the Data Power 2017conference, hosted by Carlton University in Ottawa. My keynote is entitled 'Data-logies. The conditions of possibility for democratic agency in the datafied society'.
