the politics of design @ Madeira Interactive Technologies Institute, March 24

For the second time this year, I had the change to visit the Madeira Interactive Technologies Institute, in the remote lovely island of Madeira, off the coast of Africa but part of Portugal.
On Tuesday the 24th, I joined other colleagues to present and discuss along the lines of 'the politics of design, the design of politics', jointly with Chris Csikszentmihalyi, former director of the MIT Center for Civic Media and newly appointed ERA Chair in Human Computer Interaction at M-ITI. I loved every minute of the interdisciplinary conversations that unfolded there, and I long for more.
M-ITI is an innovation institute at the University of Madeira, established as an independent non-profit R&D organization whose founding members are the University of Madeira, Madeira Tecnopolo S. A. and Carnegie Mellon University. Read more about M-ITI .
